A short walkthrough

  1. Choose one decision that matters.Write the exact question. For sizing, record the measurement and units. For compatibility, record the exact part and model. Note where the question was asked and when.
  2. Check the facts before grading.Save the applicable product details and have the person responsible for them review the expected answer. Mark missing facts or uncertain coverage as unresolved.
  3. Keep the first answer intact.Record the actual words, model and settings. For a browser test, retain which native tools were available, which were called and what they returned. If that record is missing, say so.
  4. Compare only when the setup matches.If you try an additional tool, use the same question, facts and settings. Record whether the tool was a preview or published, and the version actually available. Keep successful native answers and answers that stayed the same or became worse.

What the result can tell you

Use supported when the answer meets the reviewed facts, partial when it meets only part of the request, contradicted when it conflicts with the facts, and unresolved when evidence is missing. These worksheet labels are separate from the app’s grading labels.

A simulated browser check describes that recorded setup. It does not predict consumer-assistant answers, shopper adoption or sales. If Shopify’s existing tools answer well, keeping the free report without buying publication is a useful outcome.
